What Is Hydrafacial?
Hydrafacial is a skin restoration and rejuvenation treatment that takes 30 to 60 minutes. It is a deep facial that eliminates dirt and debris clogging your pores while at the same time, intensely nourishes and hydrates your skin. This promotes and maintains optimal skin health. With the ability to customize the treatment according to your unique skin concerns, Hydrafacial gives you an improvement you can see instantly. No downtime is involved.
A Glow Like No Other

Your Hydrafacial involves just three simple steps, but you have the freedom to choose specific formulations to better achieve your skincare goals.
- Cleansing
The first step is cleansing. We deeply clean and soften your skin to release trapped dirt and debris clogging your pores. - Extracting
Next, we remove all of that gunk by suctioning it away. While this extraction does involve a specialized vacuum, it won’t hurt at all. - Hydrating
Finally, we apply a therapeutic formulation (known as a “booster”) that nourishes, repairs and moisturizes your skin.
Great for Sensitive and Problematic Skin
While Hydrafacial is more intense than a regular facial, it won’t leave your skin irritated or inflamed. The technology is designed to prevent this from happening, which makes it suitable for patients with acne, rosacea, and/or super dry skin. If you have this type of skin, you may even find that Hydrafacial helps your complexion!
What Technology Does Hydrafacial Use?
Hydrafacial uses a handheld wand that functions as the following two tools:
- The vacuum suctions out the dirt and debris clogging up your pores, cleaning them out.
- The delivery system applies a customized formulation of moisturizers and peptides to your skin. This formulation is know as a “booster”.
Because of the wand, your skin gets a deeper clean than a traditional facial. This allows for your selected booster to penetrate the skin more deeply as well, where it can work more effectively to improve your skin health.
For some Hydrafacials, LED Light Therapy is included. Red and blue light therapy helps promote healthier skin. Blue light, in particular, is designed to stabilize oil production and destroy the bacteria that causes acne (known as P. acnes).
Hydrafacial Treatment
When you first visit us, the first thing we’ll do is talk to you about your aesthetic goals. We’ll also assess your skin at the same time, closely examining it to check for its type and issues. We do this to make sure that HydraFacial is suitable for you, and can achieve the improvement you’d like. If it is not suitable for you, you’ll find out an alternative solution.

First, we’ll deep clean your skin to loosen any stubborn dirt and debris in your pores. Then, we’ll use the Hydrafacial wand to suction away all of that nasty stuff. Although the wand vacuums deep into your pores, this part doesn’t hurt at all. You may just feel a bit of suction.
Lastly, we’ll apply your booster to leave your skin cleaner, softer, and glowing.
Then, you’ll be able to get right back to work or school as there’s no downtime or recovery needed. You can even apply makeup if you’d like, although many of our patients don’t because they find their skin so clean and fresh looking that they prefer to go without.
Every Hydrafacial treatment begins with you relaxing! Just sit back and enjoy your Me-Time.

Hydrafacial Options
We offer the following specialized types of Hydrafacials:
- Signature Hydrafacial: 30 minutes. It is designed to cleanse and hydrate with a unique formulation of peptides, hyaluronic acid and antioxidants. This is a great way to beautify your skin and get it glowing quickly.
- Deluxe Hydrafacial: 45 minutes. After your skin is cleansed and exfoliated, your choice of booster is applied and, if necessary, Blue LED light therapy follows.
- Platinum Hydrafacial: 60 minutes. You’ll receive everything in the Deluxe Hydrafacial but enjoy lymphatic drainage and a longer, more luxurious treatment.
Lip PERK™ and Eye PERK™
Focus on your lips or eye area for improved plumpness and smoothness with a Lip PERK or Eye PERK. Add one or both to any Hydrafacial treatment.
- Lip PERK delivers more nourishing ingredients to your lip area. In less than 10 minutes, this will plump and hydrate your lips to make them softer, fuller and more supple.
- Eye PERK targets the delicate skin around the eyes with a specialized device. This hydrates and firms up the area with natural botanicals and peptides, leaving your eye area looking younger and healthier.
Your Results
After your treatment, you’ll love your skin. It will look fresher, clearer and more radiant. It will also feel softer and more hydrated, a result what may last for up to a week or so.
Hydrafacial is a great way to maintain the beauty of your complexion and protect it from environmental damage. We recommend one treatment a month, although more may be beneficial depending on your goals.

Hydrafacial FAQ
What’s the best age for Hydrafacial?
These relaxing skincare treatments benefit adults of all ages because they can be customized for a range of needs from therapeutic, to anti-aging, to rejuvenating.
Can I get BOTOX and a Hydrafacial in the same appointment?
Yes. We perform Hydrafacial first because exfoliation and suction can interfere with the effects of the BOTOX COSMETIC®.
What can this do for my skin?
Hydrafacial can intensely hydrate your skin, minimizing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It can also reduce the visibility of your pores, giving you a smoother, firmer complexion. For those suffering from acne and rosacea, Hydrafacial may reduce breakouts, normalize oil production and calm redness and inflammation.
Does Hydrafacial remove dark spots?
We can personalize your Hydrafacial with a booster formulated to address brown spots, freckles, and uneven skin tone. For more noticeable results, your provider may recommend an IPL photofacial, which uses intense light to reduce excess pigment and redness quicker and more completely than Hydrafacial.
Does a Hydrafacial remove blackheads?
Yes. Through a combination of exfoliation and suction, Hydrafacial removes dead skin cells and unclogs pores to remove blackheads and the buildup of sebum.
What’s the downtime?
There is no downtime. You can get right back to work, school or play. You can even apply makeup if you’d like.
How long do Hydrafacial results last?
Our patients typically enjoy a softer, plumper and more hydrated complexion immediately after just one treatment. Like them, you’ll enjoy results that can last up to a week or more. Repeated treatments will keep your skin looking better for a longer period of time. We recommend one session per month to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, uneven pigmentation, excessive oiliness and acne.
Centre Difference
The Hydrafacial treatment we offer is Health Canada and FDA approved. But that’s not enough for us. We also make sure it achieves the results it claims to do by testing it out on ourselves. That way, we make sure it works and have firsthand knowledge that we can share with you.
